Why should you trust Mente Soul’s fitness background? How is Mente Soul’s coaching genuine to many ways of life?

Fitness has been a part of my life from a young age. Every day I looked forward to playing sports with friends and family. This lifestyle has grown into a passion. Sports and fitness are not a duty for I enjoy exercising the skills I worked hard to achieve.

Fitness background in gymnastics

Soccer was a main interest growing up, but gymnastics became the most dominant practice for most of my life. My group of friends participated in training basic movement and acrobatic skills outside of the gym known as parkour and freerunning, respectively. Parkour and freerunning developed into a passion which I apply to life. 

Parkour and freerunning? I have no interest in those, sorry 

I’m no longer able to perform acrobatic skills of my past after a near-fatal accident, but still fulfill gymnastic strength exercises (Read more about this by visiting my traumatic accident page). Parkour along with gymnastics, particularly, taught me discipline to step closer towards my goals. 

Do you mean a goal of scaling a wall?

No, my objectives are far beyond a physical obstacle. My goals target regions I will train my mind and body to achieve. All of our brains are different, but each actively pursue objectives. Although an aspiration doesn’t relate to exercise intentions, physical activity assists sleep, memory and processing speed.

The gymnastics, parkour and freerunning I practiced taught me new behaviors, but recovering from a near-fatal accident significantly impacted my brain into accomplishing anything in life. I apply my discipline to myself and others. 

How does Mente Soul’s background apply to fitness today? 

I have accomplished athletic goals from beginning to advanced stages several times. My fitness scope considers body function altered by physical and mental abilities. For added coaching authenticity, my certifications include ACE1 Personal Training, Fitness Nutrition and the Yoga Alliance.  Life experience implemented to discipline forced me to relearn everything from walking on feet to standing on my hands again.
